Matt Varnado grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in a family steeped in the architectural draftsmanship and homebuilding trades. Through this early influence, Matt had his first taste of the art of architectural design. Over the course of his life, Matt has developed a unique appreciation for buildings, fine lines and simplicity. With a passion for drawing, he pursued a degree in architectural drafting and learned AutoCAD.
In 2000, Matt moved to Seattle, and for nearly a decade made a life for himself as a draftsman. Wanting more out of the industry and to tap into his love for photography, he furthered his education at nationally recognized Seattle Central Community College, earning a degree in Commercial Photography. Graduating with a specialty in architectural photography, Matt finds continual fulfillment in his career as a professional photographer.
